Instructions to program Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob Honda Passport follow the below steps:

Step 1.

Locate the keyless entry module which is usually under the driver seat.

Step 2.

Search the module for a label. You will be able to push your finger through the label which will reveal the remote programming button.

Step 3.

Insert the key in the ignition and turn it to ON (the position just before starting the car)

Step 4.

Turn the ignition to OFF (the position where you can remove the key)

Step 5.

Press and HOLD the programming button from step 2. You will now hear a series of 4 chips followed by 5 quick chirps. This confirms the vehicle is in programming mode you will continue to hear a chirp every 3 seconds letting you know the vehicle is still in programming mode.

Step 6.

RELEASE the programming button.

Step 7.

Wait for a chirp after 3 seconds and quickly press the LOCK button the first remote you are programming (does not matter which). The vehicle will chirp letting you know the remote was successfully programmed.

Step 8.

Repeat step 7 for up to four additional remotes. If you have no further remotes to program proceed to step 9.

Step 9.

Turn key to ON then OFF. Programming is complete.
