Within Siebel CRM Product Development our engineering teams are always looking for ways to improve application performance, and recently in our 15.3 patch set we introduced a number of performance enhancements.
In the chart below we can see how average response time has improved in the application since Innovation Pack (IP) 2013 (when the Open UI framework was also introduced)
- 2x better response time in IP2015 patch set 3 compared to IP2013
- 19% improvement in IP2015 patch set 3 compared to IP2015
- The Response Time (RT) improvement is more significant as the complexity of the view increases in order to enhance RT of customized views
Further testing across Siebel application views, shows us the % improvement in Response Times
- 60% of all Siebel Views response times are below 0.5 seconds in 15.3
- 99% of all Siebel Views response times are below 1 second in 15.3
- The tests cover 950 Siebel views across all Siebel applications
